Note for 25 Jun 06: I went with Blair Piggot and Trevor Macmillan as part of a two peak day. We first climbed the east face of Mt. Anderson, then popped over to bag Lost Mtn as well. It was an extremely hot day with little breeze and no cloud cover. Click for a detailed trip report.

Our trip first started by bagging Mt. Anderson. Check that part first.

Lost Mountain This is the connecting ridge from Anderson Summit to Lost Summit. It's actually not as easy as it looks from here. I'd rate scrambling to be moderate.

Lost Mountain It didn't take long, and we were at the summit of Lost. Here we see myself and Trevor standing at the summit. No, I didn't let my hair grow. That's my hat with accompanying neck cloth.

Lost Mountain Now that the good picture was taken above, we decided to let Grampa Blair come into the picture.

Lost Mountain Going down was no big deal. We went down the gully on the south side of Lost, which led back to Blakiston Creek. The gully was very long on our old feet and ankles, but there weren't any technical challenges. Coming up this way would be an easy scramble. From the base of the gully, we picked up the Blakiston Creek trail and followed it about 5-6km back to the parking lot.
