Since we got such an early start, it was still dark when we got to Rummel Lake. I had to use my Photoshop to brighten the picture a bit. Anyway, the peak in the light is the Tower. As you can see, the weather was not good. It rained on us for the entire approach. Higher up, the rain would turn to sleet and snow. By the time we got back down to the truck, we were chilled.

This is Dan making his way up the scree to the base of the Tower. We went a bit to the right of where Kane suggests. This brought us to an exposed ridge, which eventually led to the summit. The scrambling wasn't too bad, but it would have been a lot easier if it was dry. Lots of slabs going this way.

Here we see Dan making his way up the scree and slabs. As you can tell the weather was less than perfect.

By following the ridge, you encounter a couple of steps. Here we see Dan coming up on one of them. The weather still sucked.

Soon after that step, we made the summit. Here we see me enjoying the weather.

Now for the both of us. I mustarded up a smile for this picture, just not as much of a smile as Dan.
