29 Jul 00 - Paget Peak is a very easy peak. The peak sits near the highway, there is a
very good trail leading to an old lookout station, which now serves as a summit register. I
wish people wouldn't write all over the walls like that. Anyway, the lookout building is
actually better structured than the Hint Hut at Mt. Assiniboine. In this picture, the lookout
is on the ridge on the far left side of the picture. From the lookout, you can follow any of the
trails leading up the skyline of this picture. Eventually, you will stumble up to the summit.

29 Jul 00 - After you pass the lookout, this is the type of terrain you encounter. Just plod
on up. On the right side, you can see Tina making her way up.

29 Jul 00 - Finally, the summit ridge. Here we see Tina making her way up the final few feet.
In the background, you have Victoria and LeFroy.

|
29 Jul 00 - From the summit, you have a nice view of Sherbrooke Lake. In the classic Wapta
ski traverse, this is one of the exits you can take.

29 Jul 00 - Here we see myself sitting just below the summit, enjoying a good book. In the background,
you can see the Wapta Icefields, with Mts Niles and Daly (two other scrambles).
