Note for 13 Apr 01: I went with Frederic. Spent most of the day waddelling in waist deep snow. This was a very slow process. We managed to stay out of avalanche terrain, which forced us to go a bit off route. We ended up doing some 5.3/5.4 rock climbing to get around the snow loaded slopes. Coming down, we got some great glissades on the crusted snow.
