26 Jul 97 - Grotto Mountain was not the most exciting mountain to
climb, but don't get me wrong. If you want some exercise, this is a great place to get it.
For Grotto, park at the Alpine Club and Canada in Canmore, then follow the trail up.
The trail is steep, and it doesn't let up until you get to the top. I don't have many good
pictures of Grotto. When I went with Lorene, she would have left me in the dust if I stopped
to take pictures. When I went with George, you couldn't see anything. The picture seen here
was taken from East Rundle, which sits across Canmore from Grotto.

26 Jul 97 - Grotto Mountain sits right next to Lady McDonald. If you
look close enough, you can see the tea house that sits on the side of Lady McDonald.

30 May 98 - The Book informs you that you might run across some
Mountain Sheep, and when I went the first time, I didn't see any, but when George and
I went, we saw about six of them blocking the trail. They let us walk within 10 yards
of them before fleeing across the mountain slope. I don't know who was more nervous,
them or us. The last thing I wanted was to get butted by a sheep.
