I actually see Coyotes all the time, but I never seem to have my camera ready, and by the time I get the camera out, they are long gone. The same holds true for wolves and foxs. Everytime I see them, I don't have the camera ready. Generally, I see coyotes in the foothills of the mountains, but I have seen a few near Canmore. I also see them around my home in Strathmore. By the way, they are pronounced "Cy-ot-e", not "cy-ot". I find most Canadians mispronounce this. :-) Here we see a coyote northwest of Edmonton on my drive back from Mt. Logan. It was eating roadkill on the highway, and when I stopped to take it's picture, it ran off the road and waited for me to move along.
