Cariboo are similar to elk, but typically live further north. Typically, they are lighter in colour, and their antler rack is more narrow. I've heard that there are cariboo near Jasper, but I've never seen them there. This group of cariboo was on the side of the road in northern BC on my drive up to Logan.
