Total Height:
Technical Grade:
147 ft (45M)
WI 3
Note for 17 Dec 00: I went with John Ionescu. Temperatures were around -20°C (-4°F). We did this after trying for Green Angel and Little Devil, which weren't formed. Sunshine was a little thin in places, and protection consisted mainly of 15cm screws. There was a tough 5 meter traverse on the route which made the route a lot harder than it should have been.

17 Dec 00 - Sunshine Falls is in the south ghost. It wasn't our intended climb, but after hiking in to the Green Angel and Little Devil, only to find they weren't there, we settled on this climb. This is what it looks like from where you park your truck.

17 Dec 00 - As you can see in the bottom right-hand corner of the picture (my truck), Sunshine falls is pretty close to where you park. Sunshine Falls is in the middle of the picture.

17 Dec 00 - Not shown in the picture is a 10 foot section actually off to the left. You have to climb that, then traverse to your right to gain this section. The traverse is rather tricky but fun. The rest of the climb is easy grade 3.

17 Dec 00 - As always, John led and I clean. Here we see myself making my way to the top.
