Note for 31 Jan 99: I went with Chris Wickens. Temperatures were around -10°C (14°F). The ice was in great condition. Not wet, but not brittle either.

Note for 27 Feb 00: I went with Derek Anderson. Temperatures were around -15°C (5°F). The ice was a little more brittle on the right side, but slightly wet on the left.

Note for 26 Dec 00: I went with Jim Kelly and Rob Davidson. Temperatures were around -10°C. Very easy ice conditions and very crowded.

Note for 03 Nov 02: I went with Gerry Drotar. Temperatures were around 0°C. No room for protection, very thin and mushy. Lots of flowing water, but still nice early season outing.

27 Feb 00 - This is looking up the finally gully from His-n-Hers. The path up to Grotto Falls is all ice. The climb is basically two short sections, but you basically climb the whole thing as one pitch. There is a bolt to rap down from.

27 Feb 00 - I climbed up onto the rocks on the other side of the gully to get this picture. Here, you see the two sections. On the upper section, you can take the left side for a little more steepness. Otherwise, the climb is too easy to really be enjoyed.
