Misc. Pictures of Calgary
These pictures are pictures I've either stumbled across or have taken and scanned myself.
I didn't think they actually fit into one of the other categories, so I created a
miscellaneous category.

20 Apr 98. This is a picture of
Lindsy Park. It's a recreation centre and a great place to work out.
They have a good climbing wall in there to practice rock climbing. On
the right, you can see the Elbow River (the downtown core's southern
border). |

28 Apr 98. Here we see a couple
of hotair balloons heading towards the mountains. Hot air balloons are
actually quite popular up here, and I can always see them take off
just south of my balcony. Check out the picture I took of 10 of them
taking off. You can find that picture under "Pictures From My
Balcony." |

14 Aug 99. Driving around just east of Calgary, I came
across this small cold funnel cloud. Now these things are kind of neat. Unlike tornados, these cold funnel
clouds rarely touch the ground. They come out of the sky, drop about half way to the ground, dangle there,
and go back up. Pretty neat if you ask me. |
