Calgary's Chinatown is rather small. It's nothing like the one in New York, San Francisco, or Toronto, but it's still "a chinatown," and it's located between the downtown core and the Bow River (downtown's northern border). In other words, I can walk there!!!!

Here is one of the shopping areas in chinatown. There are some pretty good stores in there....as with any chinatown, you can always find a great bargin.

Chinatown is often very busy with cars trying to get out of downtown into the suburbs as well as people just walking around soaking up the scenes.

Then again, some of Chinatown isn't very crowded at all.

This is the Chinese Cultural Centre. I understand that it was built by craftsmen flown in from China. It is sort of the center of Chinatown.
