This is Mt. Mangin as seen from the shoulder of Mt. Marlborough. It's the peak that sits between Cordonnier and Joffre. I've marked our ascent gully by putting some red at the base of the gully. Basically, we got to the top of the snow, then we encountered a rock step, which we didn't have the right equipment to go over it. We were so close to the summit.

This is Mt. Mangin as seen from the base of Mt. Joffre. Mangin in the steep one on the left, while Cordonnier is the larger one on the right. After coming down Joffre's NE Ridge, we traversed the Mangin Glacier and went up the gully shown in the picture above. The gully was pretty steep (one of the steepest snow gullies I've been in).

Here's a closer look at the gullies. We went up the right one, then rappelled down the left one. Our rapell got us to a point where could safely glissade back down to the glacier.
