This is looking at the ridge from a different point of view. This is from the east and it shows the back side of the ridge.

Here we see John leading the way up to the base of the ridge. As you can tell, gaining the ridge doesn't pose any problems.

Once on the ridge, most of it is walking up and around rock ridges. Here we see John taking a quick water break.

Here we see myself slowly making my way up through the ridge.

For the most part, most of the route was a combination of scrambling and steep snow climbing. Here we see part of the snow climbing. The exposure down this snow slope dumps you off onto the glacier below, but there are several cliff bands getting down there.

Time for another break.

This slope was very typical of the types of slopes we were going up and across. Some of the slopes were showing signs of sluffing, so caution was needed.

Here we see John traversing across one of the slopes. Eventually, we encountered a slope much steeper than this one further into the climb. Due to the warm temperatures and evidence of sluffing, I decided to turn back.

Coming back, we did a combination of rapells, downclimbs, and just walking. Here we see myself toward the bottom of the ridge.
